This 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback left the factory finished in Meadowlark Yellow, originally equipped with a 390ci V8, a C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, and an Equa-Lok differential. During a prior refurbishment, the exterior was stripped and repainted following the replacement of the hood, grille, right-front fender, and taillight panel. The factory engine was replaced with a 428 Cobra Jet V8, which was rebuilt prior to installation with a Super Cobra Jet-spec hardened crankshaft, cap-screw connecting rods, and a counterweight crank spacer. Power is routed through a rebuilt C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission featuring an aftermarket shift kit, back to the Equa-Lok rear differential. The dual exhaust system is fitted with Flowmaster mufflers.

The car sits on 15×7″ Magnum 500-style wheels mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich tires. Factory equipment includes the GT Equipment Group—which adds heavy-duty suspension components, higher-rate springs, higher-capacity shocks, and a larger front sway bar—as well as power steering and power front disc brakes. The interior is equipped with a Sport Deck rear seat, SelectAire air conditioning, and a tilt steering column added by a previous owner. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges.
