This 1968 Dodge Charger R/T is an American muscle classic powered by a 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8 engine. Mated to a TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission, this Charger brings together iconic late-’60s styling with some modern upgrades for improved drivability

Exterior Originally painted red from the factory, the car was repainted under previous ownership to a deep maroon, complemented by a black vinyl roof and matching black R/T tail stripes. It retains its classic design elements, including the signature concealed headlights, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on 15-inch Magnum 500–style chrome wheels wrapped in staggered BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires (225/70 in the front, 275/60 in the rear).  Minor cosmetic blemishes, including paint chips on the front valance and a touched-up dent on the passenger fender.

Interior and Amenities The refurbished cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench finished in black vinyl, which matches the dashboard, carpeting, and door panels. A center console houses the floor-mounted shifter. The interior features a modern Vintage Air climate control system hidden behind factory-style controls, though the vintage Chrysler Solid State AM radio and speakers are currently inoperable.

Mechanical Specs and Upgrades The rebuilt 440ci V8 features Mopar valve covers, a Champion aluminum radiator, and a recently installed MSD ignition system. To keep this heavy muscle car manageable, it is equipped with power steering and a front disc-brake conversion.

Recent Maintenance Under the previous ownership (starting in late 2023), the car received a significant amount of maintenance, including:
